Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- School-based SLP experience highly valued
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred, but candidates without licensure will be considered
- Strong assessment, intervention, and caseload management skills
- Adaptable to changing environments and schedules; able to support multiple sites
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Highlights and Responsibilities:
- Support elementary, middle, or high school caseloads (ranging from 40–50 students)
- Provide direct therapy, conduct speech and language assessments, and contribute to IEP teams
- Rotate between assigned school sites; each day brings a new location and student group
- Help manage large caseloads, ensuring no site support gaps
- Collaborate closely with school-based teams, teachers, and district SLPs
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and service logs
