Step into a dynamic contract role where your expertise as a Special Education Teacher can make a daily difference for students in inclusive and resource settings. Four exciting onsite opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting elementary and middle school learners. Available assignments include:

  • Inclusion/resource positions at Hall and Reskin Elementary Schools, with manageable caseloads supporting 6-10 students per assignment.
  • A structured classroom opportunity at Reskin Elementary, serving five high-incidence students with the assistance of two dedicated paraprofessionals.
  • A co-taught ELA position at Marquardt Middle School, focusing on the instructional needs of students with IEPs in grades aligned with English/Language Arts.

Preferred candidates are skilled in managing a variety of student needs, comfortable providing assistance with toileting when necessary, and adept at supporting positive behaviors. Your flexibility across grade levels and commitment to individualized student growth will be highly valued.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
  • Experience with inclusion, resource, and/or structured special education classrooms
  • Willingness to support students requiring toileting assistance and behavioral intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with co-teachers, paras, and related service providers
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports
  • Engage families and support staff for holistic student development
