Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) welcomed, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in educational, pediatric, or school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of communication disorders
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, working effectively with staff, families, and students
  • Commitment to best practices, cultural competence, and continuing professional development

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized testing tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, providing insights for educational planning
  • Document all services and progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Provide training and resources to staff and parents as needed
