You’ll collaborate with educators and other support staff to help children reach their movement and mobility goals, all while maintaining a balanced workweek with just 10 hours per week for the full school year.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in California is required
  • School-based experience preferred, but open to candidates passionate about pediatric care
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions within educational environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students in grades TK–8 per their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop effective intervention strategies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, monitor progress, and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Provide consultative services and in-service training for school personnel as requested
