Job Description
Exciting opportunities await south of Austin for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists interested in supporting local schools. This contract role runs from August 6th through May 28th and offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. There are two openings available, and placements are on-site only at this time.
You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students, with placements tailored to your preference for elementary, middle, or high school settings whenever possible. Assignments will be at one to two sites, allowing for focused and impactful service delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP License in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Recent experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to work across grade levels if needed
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning
