What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure in Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to serve students across a range of grade levels, from PK to 12th grade
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Travel between 1–2 campuses (to be assigned based on your preferences and strengths)
- Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
This onsite-only role (no teletherapy) offers an engaging, community-focused setting where your clinical skills will truly make a difference. The assignment runs from August 6th through May 28th, aligning with the school year and providing a stable work schedule (37.5 hours per week).
