Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development in a vibrant school environment near Anoka, MN. This full-time role runs from August 24 to June 2, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact during the academic year. You’ll work onsite, collaborating with an elementary caseload of 40-50 students, with the possibility of supporting some secondary students as well.
As an integral part of the educational team, you’ll provide comprehensive speech-language services and help students thrive in and out of the classroom.
Your qualifications and background:
- Hold an active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license (be ready to submit documentation when applying)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings, with a strong understanding of student-centered therapy approaches
- Skilled in working with diverse caseloads, including elementary and some secondary students
- Committed to collaborative care, communication, and record-keeping
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Performing diagnostic evaluations and providing comprehensive assessments
- Engaging in team meetings with staff, parents, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation and IEP records for assigned caseload
- Supporting the educational goals of students with speech and language needs
