Job Description
Make a real impact supporting students’ well-being in a dynamic elementary school setting near Phoenix, AZ! This contract, full-time opportunity is perfect for dedicated School Psychologists looking to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a lively elementary campus.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Previous experience working with elementary-age children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, provide counseling, and develop intervention strategies
- Aptitude for working with students, families, and educators from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student evaluations for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions
- Consult and partner with staff to support positive learning environments
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential student records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
