Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Demonstrated experience working in school-based settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate approach to engaging students, families, and educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy in accordance with students' IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student outcomes
  • Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
  • Stay current with best practices in school speech-language services
