Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to engaging students, families, and educational teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy in accordance with students' IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
- Stay current with best practices in school speech-language services
