Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting near Norwalk, CT. This part-time role is perfect for those passionate about supporting high-functioning preschool through elementary-aged students, with no self-contained programming required. Enjoy a consistent schedule working two days per week from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced full-time SLP, sharing caseload responsibilities and support. This team-oriented approach provides comprehensive coverage and helps foster strong professional relationships.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and current certification in the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with preschool and elementary students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Comfort working in a team environment alongside other SLP professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy primarily to PK through elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with a full-time SLP, splitting service sessions according to student therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session details
  • Participate in student evaluations and Planning and Placement Teams (PPTs)
  • Engage families, teachers, and related service providers to support student success

This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a friendly, well-structured school environment with a highly supportive team. If you’re energized by helping children reach their full communication potential, apply today and take the next step in your school-based SLP career!

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.92 to $65.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
