Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Elyria, Ohio

This opportunity is for a per diem Staff Pharmacist specializing in retail, focused on administering flu shots at onsite clinics for local businesses. The assignment spans 8 weeks starting September 24th, with 1-2 days per week of work, 2-7 hours per event. Flexibility is essential, as clinic days and hours vary weekly and there are no guaranteed hours. You will travel to various client sites across both the east and west sides, providing important immunization services in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Administer flu vaccinations safely and efficiently at multiple onsite flu shot clinics
• Coordinate with client sites to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and company policies
• Use Epic software functionality to document activities and client information
• Adapt to varying schedules and locations each week

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP)
• Must hold an active RPH license in the state of Ohio
• Current BLS certification and immunization delivery certification required prior to start
• Preferred: PharmD degree and prior experience administering flu shots

Work environment includes:

• Standing and sitting while conducting vaccinations at different business locations
• Regular travel to client sites within the assigned geographic area
