Job Description
Step into a meaningful role supporting student growth by providing special education instruction and services to elementary learners. In this full-year contract position, you will deliver individualized support in a resource room setting, working with up to 22 students spanning multiple grade levels. Your expertise will help foster academic, social, and behavioral progress for each child, guided by their IEP goals.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll partner with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to create a supportive, inclusive educational environment. This is an onsite position, allowing you to build positive, consistent relationships throughout the school year.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license required
- Demonstrated skill working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Prior experience in a K-5 or resource room environment highly valued
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse, multi-grade caseload effectively
- Dedication to creating inclusive and engaging learning opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
