School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fremont, California

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
• California SLP license preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations throughout the week
• Excellent communication, organizational, and assessment skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to students, primarily in general education and select preschool settings, without being the main SLP for any particular campus
• Support sites experiencing increased demand by conducting thorough assessments and collaborating effectively with existing SLP teams
• Manage varying caseloads (ranging from 40 to 50 students in some assignments) and adapt to day-to-day location changes
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of services and effective intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation for all services and assessments in compliance with district and state requirements

Assignment Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 3:30 pm, site dependent)
• Positions begin at the start of the 2026–2027 school year; some extend until the district hires internally, while others conclude by mid/end of September
• Opportunities available in both elementary and secondary school settings
