Enthusiastic and compassionate professionals are needed to support middle and high school students in a dynamic, collaborative environment near Portsmouth, NH. Multiple paraprofessional roles are available, ranging from 1:1 student support to classroom-based assistance for the 2026-2027 academic year. These contract opportunities allow you to build meaningful connections with students and work closely with educators to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Preferred candidates will bring a background in school environments, though no additional certifications or higher education credentials are necessary. Applicants must provide documentation of a high school diploma.
What you bring:
- Proven ability to support students’ academic and behavioral goals under the direction of certified teachers
- Experience in school settings is preferred but a passion for helping students and a cooperative attitude is key
- Patience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow schedules and directives reliably
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is required
- Willingness to provide three completed references upfront, including your most recent manager, prior to interviewing
Role Highlights:
- Support student learning in 1:1 or classroom roles as assigned

Enjoy consistent weekday hours: Middle school shifts run from 7:10am to 2:10pm; high school shifts are from 7:30am to 2:30pm, both include a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, to June 16, 2027.
