Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Chicago, IL for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional success through assessment, intervention, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Interpret assessment data and develop detailed reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support the development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans
- Consult with staff on classroom strategies and student support
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
