Key Qualifications:
- Valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing, or a California credential permitting services as a Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- California state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school environments preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and implementing therapy tailored to student needs
- Commitment to onsite work; this position is not available for VOCO or hybrid options
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of student plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
- Support generalization of communication skills within the classroom and school community
Assignment Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: August 13th through June 11th
- All work performed onsite on school premises
- Compensation for this assignment will reflect the range discussed in the provided details
