School Psychologist in Redford, MI

Make a difference in students’ lives by supporting their well-being and success as a School Psychologist during the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite position offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit district environment, collaborating directly with educators, students, and families to foster a positive school climate and provide essential psychological services.

In this role, you will have the chance to go beyond standard student testing, actively contributing to mental health initiatives, intervention plans, and holistic student support. You’ll be assigned to one or two of the district’s five buildings, collaborating with a small, dedicated team of psychologists who split their expertise between elementary and secondary schools.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness to quickly obtain MI licensure before start date—support available for travelers)
• Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Expertise in student assessment, behavioral intervention, and mental health support
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
• Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote learning and emotional well-being
• Participate in problem-solving teams, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives
• Engage in both direct student support and broader programming for mental health awareness
