Qualifications:

• Current Kansas Special Education teaching license required
• Previous experience in a resource setting preferred, especially working with middle school students
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs for students with mild to moderate needs
• Adaptable and committed to building rapport with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a resource setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to accommodate student needs
• Track student progress and communicate updates with stakeholders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and staff professional development
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
