Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Valid credential for serving in a school setting (such as a California PPS credential)
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication screenings, evaluations, and therapy services for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support students in achieving communication goals
  • Adjust intervention techniques to address diverse student populations, primarily at the elementary level but potentially across all grade levels
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for comprehensive student support

As part of this position, you’ll work a consistent, full-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week while experiencing a variety of settings and student needs.
