Job Description
Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative school setting near Richmond, TX. This full-time position offers the chance to gain diverse experience while working 37.5 hours per week, assisting another SLP in balancing caseloads across two vibrant campuses. You’ll split your time between Rummel Creek, situated on the south side, and Terrace, where you’ll benefit from a wonderfully supportive diagnostic team and principal. This is the perfect role for those enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact in pediatric education.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license, Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in pediatrics and school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Split time and manage responsibilities across two campuses, fostering positive relationships with each school’s staff and students
- Collaborate closely with another SLP to ensure a balanced caseload and high-quality services
- Document student progress and outcomes in compliance with district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student planning
