Operating Room Technician - Brockton, MA

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Proven experience as a Surgical Tech or Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Proficient in handling surgical instruments and supplies
• Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities
• BLS certification preferred
• Prior experience in an operating room setting is strongly desired

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and circulating nurses throughout operations
• Ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are available and functioning
• Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgical staff
• Uphold strict infection control protocols at all times
• Support safe patient positioning and provide intraoperative support
• Manage instrument counts and documentation in compliance with standards
• Collaborate with other members of the surgical and nursing teams

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
