Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in an engaging, full-time, contract position in the New Orleans area. This unique school-based opening welcomes skilled professionals passionate about providing behavioral support and fostering positive learning environments.

The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), closely following the school calendar. Specific school assignments and caseload details, including age group, will be shared during the interview process. School-based experience is highly valued.

Qualifications & Credentials:

  • Active, valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Louisiana Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential from the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board
  • Prior school-based BCBA experience preferred
  • Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprint background checks, along with our internal credentialing process
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement evidence-based strategies
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Provide staff training and ongoing support in behavior intervention techniques
  • Document services and maintain confidential records according to requirements
