We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Inpatient Psychiatrist to become part of our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Position Details- Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with in-person coverage, plus additional weekend rounding and on-call responsibilities.
Our facility features a 28-bed inpatient psychiatric unit and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) with 24 chairs. This position encompasses both inpatient psychiatry and consult-liaison services, along with the chance to cover the PHP.
Team Structure- Team Size: 5 attending physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Opportunities to teach and mentor medical students and residents in a collaborative academic environment.
- Inpatient call rotation approximately every six days.
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
- Utilize flexible scheduling and advanced digital tools such as Epic and MyChart.
- Collaborate with skilled physicians, APPs, and dedicated support staff.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support community health efforts.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry, with a commitment to obtain certification within 12 months.
- Active Michigan medical license or the ability to secure one.
- Experience with documenting in Epic EMR.
