Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for two full-time, onsite opportunities serving young children throughout the Salem region. These positions focus on Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) populations, providing critical speech and language services during key developmental years.
This is a rewarding opportunity for clinicians passionate about supporting communication development, school readiness, and family-centered services for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Available Openings Full-Time SLP – Birth to 3 Years
- Dates: July 6, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- Schedule: 190-Day Contract
- Location: Salem Area
- Population: Infants and Toddlers (Birth–3)
Full-Time SLP – Ages 3 to 5
- Dates: August 21, 2026 – June 9, 2027
- Schedule: 190-Day Contract
- Service Areas: Salem Area, Polk County, and Yamhill County
- Population: Preschool-Aged Children (3–5)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to young children in early intervention and preschool settings
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
- Develop and implement IFSPs (Individualized Family Service Plans) and IEPs
- Address communication needs including language delays, articulation disorders, social communication, feeding, and early developmental concerns
- Collaborate with families, educators, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support developmental milestones and school readiness skills
Qualifications
- Active or eligible Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience in Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Preschool, or Pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of IFSP and IEP processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
