Shape the future for students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work in a collaborative, supportive setting with a focus on meaningful student progress in 1-2 classroom settings. A key aspect of this role involves supporting students directly as well as offering supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). If you thrive in dynamic educational environments and value diverse experiences, this position provides a chance to make a real impact.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state SLP licensure, or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to supervise SLPAs (prior experience a plus)
  • Comfort with both in-person and virtual service delivery options
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across 1-2 classrooms
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise and mentor SLPAs as part of your caseload responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Foster a positive, inclusive therapy setting aligned with student goals
