School Psychologist in Tomball, TX

Make a meaningful impact working as a School Psychologist in a contract-based opportunity starting as soon as possible and running through the end of the academic year. This position is designed for professionals seeking to support student success in a dynamic, onsite school setting. Serve a variety of campuses in an itinerant capacity while collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Must possess valid licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in the state
• State-issued Licensed Psychologist credentials required
• Prior experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students and colleagues
• Comfort with an itinerant role; flexibility to work across multiple schools
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling to address students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop, monitor, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
• Consult with staff and families to design interventions, strategies, and supports
• Interpret evaluation results and make recommendations for classroom accommodations
• Support students from diverse backgrounds, grades and ability levels—caseload details to be determined
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and crisis intervention as needed

Position Details:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Onsite only; no remote options
• Contract runs ASAP through May 27, 2027
