Elevate the learning experience for 5th graders as a General Education Teacher specializing in English Language Arts and Social Studies. This contract opportunity spans August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, in an intermediate school environment near Round Lake, IL. Working onsite, you’ll play a key role in guiding students through these crucial subjects, supporting both their academic and personal growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements
• Proficiency in curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Experience or interest in teaching dual subjects preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans focused on 5th-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies standards
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment where every student feels valued
• Assess student progress, adapt instruction as needed, and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
