Job Description
Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a student with intensive health needs in an educational setting. This contract position offers a meaningful way to make a direct impact in one-on-one care.
Key Details:
- Assignment Length: August 12, 2026 – June 3, 2027
- Role: One-on-one support for a student requiring attentive and compassionate assistance
- Responsibilities centered on providing direct personal care and health support
Schedule/Hours:
- Standard school schedule, Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification required
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant; comfort with hands-on health aide responsibilities
- Ability to manage lifting and positioning safely
- Skilled in toileting, diapering, and providing intensive personal care
- Patient, attentive, and able to work with students needing increased support
- Excellent communication skills and reliability
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized care based on the student’s daily health and mobility needs
- Support toileting/diapering and assist with personal hygiene using best practices
- Monitor student well-being and promptly report changes to appropriate school staff
- Provide safe lifting and transfers
- Maintain thorough documentation of care and ensure confidentiality
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to support the student’s educational experience
