School Psychologist | Coal Center, Pennsylvania

A highly motivated and compassionate School Psychologist is needed to provide essential services at an elementary center. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with staff and families to address students’ educational and emotional needs, covering a maternity leave and then providing valuable support across the district.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate required
• Experience in school-based psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and evaluations to identify learning or behavioral needs
• Develop intervention plans and provide recommendations for student support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create IEPs and other educational plans
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies
• Cover maternity leave until January; if leave ends early, assist in evaluations and adult education support for the remainder of the school year
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all ethical and legal standards

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite commitment preferred; part-time applicants (minimum three days/week) also considered
• Contract expected through June 2027, with immediate start date
• Single onsite role within a supportive educational center
