Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification and state licensure, if applicable
  • Proven competency in MRI procedures with experience operating MRI equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of patient safety protocols, positioning, and anatomy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans as prescribed by referring physicians, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort
  • Confirm patient identification, review medical histories, and provide thorough explanations of procedures
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment following established protocols
  • Ensure safety measures are followed at all times, including screening for contraindications and monitoring for potential adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate efficient workflow and accurate image interpretation
  • Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
  • Document all relevant patient and procedure information accurately within electronic medical records

$1,782 - $1,950/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
