Job Description
Step into a highly valued contract opportunity supporting students and school communities as a School Psychologist for the 2026 academic year. In this role, you’ll have the chance to work onsite near Eden Prairie, MN, delivering essential psychological services across two maternity leave assignments from August 31, 2026, through December 18, 2026.
Your expertise will play a crucial part in evaluating student needs, consulting with educational teams, and directly providing support to help all learners thrive. You’ll develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) as well as ensuring ongoing collaboration with families, staff, and administrators. As an essential member of the school team, you’ll help maintain compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed/certified as a School Psychologist by the state of Minnesota
- Direct experience with IEP goal setting and implementation of PBSPs using FBAs
- Strong knowledge of state and federal rules, regulations, and standards impacting school psychology services
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary educational teams
- Flexibility and professionalism in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Consult with educators and families to support student interventions
- Document services and ensure compliance with educational mandates
- Collaborate on data-driven strategies to promote positive student outcomes
