Job Description
Begin a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment as a float nurse. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 17, 2026, to June 18, 2027, with a schedule of 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. As a float nurse, you will travel to different campuses (all within close proximity, with the farthest only 6 miles away) to provide essential care and coverage as needed.

Qualifications:
- Active and valid Massachusetts license as an LPN or RN
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is required
- Comfortable working across multiple K-12 campuses and proactively supporting different school communities
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute between Lawrence-area campuses daily
- Ability to fulfill a consistent 8 AM to 4 PM schedule with no accommodations for alternate shifts
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering daily and emergency care for students and staff
- Managing medication administration and necessary student health documentation
- Performing health screenings and supporting health education initiatives
- Maintaining accurate records and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Acting as a reliable resource for students, parents, and staff on each campus where you are assigned
