Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-4 students for the 2026–27 school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a contracted caseload of 68, you’ll play a vital role in helping young learners build confidence and communication skills at an elementary campus near Peru, IN. The majority of students present with mild to moderate needs, allowing you to focus on impactful interventions and meaningful growth.
With 37.5 hours scheduled each week (7:30 am–3:00 pm), you’ll enjoy a structured day and access to your own designated speech area. You’ll never feel alone—collaborate closely with a talented SLPA in the building and a supportive network of six SLPs across the district, ensuring you have guidance and camaraderie along the way.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Indiana SLP license (or eligibility upon start)
- Experience supporting K-4 populations preferred
- Strong skills in case management and teacher records (managing 27 students specifically in this capacity)
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy to K-4 students
- Manage a caseload of 68, with 27 students under direct case management/teacher record responsibilities
- Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and attend meetings as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other SLPs to monitor progress
- Maintain detailed service records and data for compliance
