Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current BCBA certification
- Prior experience as a BCBA in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Able to manage a caseload and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Adaptive, responsive, and committed to fostering a positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to design effective interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to model interventions, provide training, and troubleshoot challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings as a behavioral expert, contributing actionable strategies
- Consult with families to reinforce positive behaviors and provide ongoing education
- Monitor progress and modify interventions as needed, maintaining a student-centered focus
