Our organization is seeking Psychiatry locum tenens coverage for a facility located in Minnesota.

  • September 21 (orientation)
  • September 22 - October 5
  • October 13 - 19
  • November 3 - 16
  • November 24 - December 11
  • December 29 - January 11
  • January 26 - February 8
  • February 23 - March 8
• Ongoing demand for coverage
• Work Schedule:
  • Patient care involves a 9-hour workday (8 AM - 5 PM).
• Position involves on-site consult services
• Applicants must have experience in consult services beyond residency
• A clean professional background is essential
• Responsibilities include a combination of emergency department (ED) and consults on psychiatric issues primarily within medical units
• Most ED consults are managed by the consult team’s Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
• Occasional tele-consult coverage for regional hospitals is required (very infrequent) - candidates must hold both Minnesota and Wisconsin licenses/DEAs for this aspect of the role
• Licensure in Minnesota or IMLC is mandatory
• Experience with the Epic EMR system is preferred
• Patient load per shift: 5-7
• Practice environments include inpatient settings and telehealth
• Board Certification is required
