Key Qualifications:

• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working in school or early childhood settings preferred
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and pediatric therapy techniques
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess motor, sensory, and daily living needs of children ages birth to five
• Develop individualized intervention plans to support developmental progress
• Provide direct therapy services within a school-based setting
• Collaborate with teachers, family members, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as required
• Educate parents and staff on strategies that support student participation and independence
