Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting students across a respected charter school network serving Chicago and North Chicago communities. This full-time, in-person contract position begins July 2026 and continues through June 2027, providing you the opportunity to build lasting connections with students and school staff. You'll work with diverse school sites (PreK-8th grade), supporting multiple locations throughout the academic year and collaborating with a dynamic team focused on student growth.

Your background in schools-based speech therapy and your SLP-CCC credentials equip you to help students boost their communication, language, and social skills. Bilingual Spanish-speaking professionals are encouraged to apply, although Spanish fluency is preferred rather than required.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP-CCC required
  • Illinois state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience in a school-based setting, working with PreK-8th grade populations
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families and educators
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred; all bilingual SLPs encouraged to apply
  • Flexibility to travel within school sites across the charter school network
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students
  • Document and report student progress according to district and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and family consultations
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse student populations
  • Serve multiple school sites (L6, L10, and possibly L9 locations)
