Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mexico Beach, FL

Bring your expertise to an engaging school-based setting working with students in grades 6–12. This contract opportunity allows you to support learners near Mexico Beach, FL, while making a meaningful impact through tailored speech and language interventions.

We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to use their skills in a collaborative, student-focused environment from August 10th, 2026, through June 1st, 2027. Enjoy consistent full-time hours—40 per week, Monday through Friday—as you help students overcome communication barriers and reach key milestones.

Preferred Background and Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP FL)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship (CFY), or eligibility welcomed
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP roles
• Skill in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for adolescent populations
• Familiarity with IEP process and collaboration with interdisciplinary school teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based group and individual therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
• Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment and advocate for student needs
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district guidelines
