We are seeking a contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work district-wide across four schools—two elementary, one middle, and one high school—from August 25, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
In this role, you'll provide direct support to the onsite district Occupational Therapist, who will offer supervision. Serving a diverse student population, you’ll help promote students’ independence and success within the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active COTA license for the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Enthusiasm for supporting students of all ages and abilities
- Ability to work district-wide across multiple campuses
Responsibilities:
- Implement activities and exercises developed by the supervising district OT
- Track and document student progress
- Provide support to students within classroom and small group settings
- Adapt activities and materials to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate
