Job Description
Step into an impactful contract role supporting local schools as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist near League City, TX. This opportunity is available immediately and extends through May 21st, 2027, addressing essential needs across multiple campuses due to recent expansion in student services.
Work closely with the Coordinator of Evaluations, delivering skilled speech-language support to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students. Candidates should be prepared to provide services at more than one location, creating opportunities to broaden professional experiences and foster lasting relationships with students and educational colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current CCC-SLP and Texas state licensure/certification required
- Experience in K-12 school-based settings highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 60 students in varied educational environments
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and travel between multiple sites during the school week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation, compliant with district and state guidelines
- Support annual and triennial re-evaluations
- Serve as a valued voice in multidisciplinary team meetings
