Make an impact in education and help empower students to reach their full potential as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in a full-time, onsite contract role for the upcoming academic year. This position serves a range of students from preschool through high school, with a particular emphasis on elementary-aged children—many in cross-categorical classrooms or general education with individualized educational plans (IEPs). You'll also lend your expertise to two ACT 18 ASD elementary classrooms, supporting meaningful communication development across diverse needs.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration
  • Michigan state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible)
  • Experience supporting pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in IEP processes and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment and therapy to a caseload spanning preschool through high school, with an emphasis on elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with special ed, general ed, and autism (ASD) support teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and family consultations, offering guidance and advocacy for student needs
  • Stay informed of best practices and state/federal regulations regarding school-based speech services
