Make an impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year in the New Orleans area. This full-time, school-based contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and work directly with students to improve behavioral outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current, active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Holds Louisiana Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential
- School-based BCBA experience is highly preferred
- Able to pass mandatory district drug screening and fingerprint background checks
- Comfortable navigating varying caseloads and school assignments (to be determined based on district needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students across assigned schools and age groups
- Provide direct support, consultation, and professional development to staff and teachers in implementing best-practice techniques
- Monitor, analyze, and report data for ongoing student progress or plan modifications
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, administrators, and family members to foster comprehensive support plans
- Maintain all required documentation and respond promptly to data/record requests in compliance with district guidelines
Details:
- Full-time (35 hours/week; Monday–Friday in alignment with the school calendar)
- School year contract: August 3, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- School placements and caseload specifics will be determined after credentialing
- All candidates are required to complete our internal prescreening process prior to district submission
