You’ll provide essential therapy and guidance to two energetic 7-year-olds, helping them achieve their goals during a crucial stage of development. This contract runs from early August through mid-May, aligning with the academic year for a consistent, school-based schedule.
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy sessions for two students, 30 minutes per week each
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address unique needs and encourage growth
- Engage in collaborative consultation with educators and families to optimize student participation and progress
- Ensure compliance with school documentation and reporting standards, including indirect minutes as needed
- Incorporate best practices from school, home health, and healthcare settings into therapeutic activities
- Maintain open communication and support for each child’s educational team
Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and school staff
- Organized, independent, and creative approach to engaging young students
