Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible SLP licensure for Illinois
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Background working with pediatric and elementary-aged populations in educational or healthcare settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of speech-language services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse elementary caseload
• Deliver direct therapy sessions, both in groups and one-on-one, tailored to each student’s needs
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student achievement and IEP goals
• Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for students' communication needs
