Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible SLP licensure for Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Background working with pediatric and elementary-aged populations in educational or healthcare settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of speech-language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse elementary caseload
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both in groups and one-on-one, tailored to each student’s needs
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student achievement and IEP goals
- Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for students' communication needs
