Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping K-12 learners, including some Pre-K, achieve their full potential. You can opt for full-time hours or be part of a team of part-time professionals—the district is flexible to accommodate your schedule preferences. On-site engagement is required, and daily assignments cover a manageable number of schools, working closely with another PT and PTA.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license required
- Background in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred (not mandatory)
- Effective communication and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
- Experience serving diverse student populations (K-12; some Pre-K) a plus
- Organizational skills to manage itinerant travel between school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect PT services to students, tailoring interventions for varying needs
- Travel between 2–3 assigned schools daily, within a collaborative support team
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district procedures
- Work closely with educators, families, and other service providers to foster student growth
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to IEPs as needed
