Teacher's Aide - West Chester, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding school-based position supporting K-12 students as a Paraprofessional on a full-time contract. This role begins ASAP and continues through June 12, 2026, offering you the chance to make a daily impact in an engaging onsite environment. Your role will be integral in providing 1:1 support for students with diverse and changing needs, including those with elopement issues or requiring behavioral management. You’ll assist with meeting educational goals, implementing individualized strategies, and helping students navigate both academic and personal growth. Flexibility and understanding are key, as responsibilities may include helping with toileting, diapering, and supporting students with significant behavioral or special education needs. Experience in urban schools and working with SPED populations is preferred.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma required
• Active CPR card (or willingness to promptly obtain one)
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to secure Pennsylvania clearances
• Must be comfortable with toileting/diapering tasks
• Strong references required
• Experience supporting students with behavioral or special needs
• Willingness to work onsite in an urban environment
• Able to provide disclosure of your worksite as requested
