Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• (Preferred) Certification as a School Nurse (CSN)
• Experience in a school, pediatric, or public health nursing environment is highly valued
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
• Conduct health screenings and immunization reviews
• Maintain accurate health records and document all interventions in accordance with state guidelines
• Serve as a resource to educators and parents on student health-related matters
• Lead or participate in health education initiatives and wellness activities
• Respond efficiently to emergencies and ensure a safe school environment
• Advocate for student health, safety, and well-being at all times
