Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy serving long-term care patients. The position is based in Waseca, MN, and requires flexibility for a part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week, predominantly Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts. The contract duration is 13+ weeks.
Responsibilities include fulfilling the duties of a long-term care pharmacist, ensuring safe and effective medication management for residents. This role requires close attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with healthcare providers to support patient care in a specialty pharmacy environment.
Key qualifications and desired certifications:
- PharmD degree preferred
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification required
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
- Experience in retail pharmacy and long-term care pharmacy settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Some weekend hours may be required
