Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to support complex accounting operations, with a primary focus on revenue recognition, reporting accuracy, and compliance.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data, while supporting month-end close, revenue analysis, and continuous process improvement in a SOX-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex accounting and analysis functions.

• Reviews moderately complex arrangements, such as stock-based compensation awards for accounting treatment and prepares documentation and journal entries.

• Completes technical accounting research and evaluation and interpretation of accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations.

• Prepares and/or reviews consolidated financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Reviews the work of other financial reporting analysts.

• Prepares internal, external, and regulatory financial reports as related to the financial statements.

• Provides ad hoc analytical support and analysis and presents results to management.

• Executes internal controls and actively updates SOX 404 procedures

Must Haves:

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• • Experience preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel, word, and Access experience
• Experience with SOX environment
