Schedule: Full-Time (Onsite)
Hours: 35 hours per week (additional hours may be available as needed)
Contract Dates: August 14, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Pay: $45–$50/hour (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join the Special Needs and Abilities Preschool (SNAP) at McKinley School in South Bend, Indiana for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position focuses primarily on supporting Pre-K students through the First Step Transition Program, helping young learners successfully transition into the school setting through evidence-based behavioral interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
Provide behavioral intervention services through the First Step Transition Program to support school readiness, social-emotional development, and positive classroom behavior.
Conduct preschool psychoeducational evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
Implement behavioral coaching, teacher consultation, progress monitoring, and family collaboration.
Support students transitioning into preschool through evidence-based behavioral interventions and caregiver engagement.
Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active Indiana School Psychologist licensure/certification (or ability to obtain prior to the start date).
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Previous experience working with preschool-aged students preferred.

Typical caseload of approximately 70 students
